Your 'Home Page' is the best landing place!
On your Home Page menu bar, you will find all the information you are looking for about your account, your profile, members profiles and lots more!
- Edit your profile by clicking on the 'Profile' tab. Your 'Personal information','Description' and 'About Myself' each have a '%' completed marker.
If it does not show 'Completed' it means you have forgotten to complete some important fields that other users use in their search criteria. Complete 100% of the information.
- Easy to navigate tabs for 'Desired Partner Criteria' , 'Multimedia Album' and 'Self Portrait'.
Upload and delete your photos, video and audio files. 'Self Portrait' lets you add interests,hobbies etc.
- Click on 'Account' tab to change your password , and to subscribe/unsubscribe to alerts.
- 'Quick search' displays more results if you are not particular about caste, country and other criteria.
- 'Advanced Search' narrows your results based on Country, State, Caste, Dosh, Mother Tongue, Religion, Profession and other criteria.
- Do a quick search by Login name. You can view members 1) who are online, 2) members birthday's and 3) new member profiles.
- 'Hot List' allows you to add your favorite members profiles to a list.
- Click on the 'Mailbox' Tab to read and respond to emails for FREE!
- Use 'Chat' and 'IM' for FREE!
Profiles
Viewing Member Profiles
- You can see the list of all members who have visited your profile.
- View the profiles of all the members on whom you Expressed Interest.
- View the profiles of all the members who Expressed Interest on your profile.
- 'Members who may want to meet me'. See a list of all the member profiles whose 'Desired Partner Criteria' matches your profile.
- 'Members that I may want to meet'. See a list of all the members whose profiles have met your 'Desired Partner Criteria'.
Perfect Match
How it works. 'Members who want to meet me' and 'Members that I want to meet'.
- The Perfect Match shows all the profiles which match the main
criteria (gender, country, city, nationality, languages) of your profile.
The Match Maker depends mainly on your Desired Partner Profile. You must complete it 100% in order for the Match Maker to work correctly.
Chat
How to use the Chat room.
- For the Chat to work, Flash player 8.0. needs to be installed.
Once you enter the chatroom you can select any of the rooms on you right 'The Lounge' ,'Bollywood','Tech Talk' or 'Current Affairs'
Instant Messenger
How to use the Instant Messenger.
- If you have disallowed popups, then please allow them for the 'IM' to work correctly. After you click the 'IM' tab scroll down to the bottom of the IM window and click on the 'Add' button to add the login name of the person you wish to chat.
- Click on the login name and select 'send message'.
- Once you type your greeting the other person is invited to a private talk. He/She can accept or decline your invitation.
Search Results
Add your favorite profiles to 'Hot List' and write Emails.
- Once you like a profile that interests you , click on any of the links 'Email' , 'IMessage' , 'Add to Hotlist' or 'Send to Friend'.
- Adding profiles to 'Hot List' saves you lot of time. You can directly access your Hot List from your mailbox so you can correspond to the members on the Hot List without having to search for the profile again.
Mailbox
Reading and Responding to Emails.
- Contact members for FREE! Read and write emails to other members.
Site News
- Manglikmatches.com posts important news that you as a member should read and understand.
We try not to send unnecessary emails to your email accounts and instead prefer to post news on the site.
